NDC observed The National Mourning Day On 15 August 2018 with due Reverence and Solemnity, marking the 43rd Anniversary of the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Seminar at NDC
A Two -day long seminar of ND Course 2018 was held on 14 August & 3 September 2018. The theme of the seminar is "Regional Connectivity: Opportunities and Challenges" On Day-1, the Course members, was divided into four groups & presented four keynote papers.

16th Governing Body Meeting
16th GB meeting of National Defence College (NDC) and Defence Services Command & Staff College (DSCSC) was held at Armed Forces Division (AFD), Dhaka Cantonment on 12 August 2018 at 11:00 am. Sheikh Hasina, Honourable Prine Minister, Government of the people's Republic of Bangladesh chaired the meeting. All the members of govering body attended the meeting.
