GRP

Course Members of National Defence Course and Armed Forces War Course need to take part in Group Research Paper (GRP) during the Course. This entails group of course members undertaking relatively short research assignments, production of formal papers and presentations before the Faculty and rest of the course. Each GRP assignment has a theme related to the Study Package. The theme is broken down to issues/sub-issues. The Course Members are divided into groups, each dealing with one theme. The Sponsor SDS /DS guides the GRP and attends discussion sessions so that the GRP assignments are correctly dealt with and the schedule for final production of paper is maintained. The GRP group formally presents the central themes of their work, and the main findings related to the aim and objectives set. The final paper demands to be of a quality suitable for circulation outside the College to higher authorities such as Ministries or Headquarters of the Armed Forces.
