Individual Research Paper (IRP) is a research project accomplished by each course member of National Defence Course and Armed Forces War Course. Every course member is assisted, guided and sponsored by an academic adviser from different public or private universities and a Senior Directing Staff (SDS) /Directing Staff (DS) of National Defence College (NDC).The aim of the IRP is to enable the Course Members to make an original contribution to a subject of national or international interest. Three best IRPs are selected from both National Defence Course an Armed Forces War Course and are awarded with certificate. A good number of selected IRPs are published in the NDC Journals.The College also sends few selected papers to the related Ministry or Organisation for further consideration.
